Cabin Tours
If you are a first time boarder at the K9 Cabins & Dog Trails, Inc., we would like to request that you and your dog make an appointment to visit our facility prior to boarding in order for us to meet you and your K9 Kid, and also to offer a quick tour of our facility. Please do not just show up without an appointment as the dogs are our first priority and we would prefer to block off a time for you to come so you and your K9 kid can sniff around!
On the day of your K9 kid's arrival to check-in, we welcome you to escort your dog from the lodge to his cabin and get him settled in. This sometimes helps in separating with your dog (Helps the owner that is!). This is certainly not required though. We would be glad to do this for you. If you arrive early enough, we can even let him sniff around and run in the playing field. Although this does take some of your time, you are welcome to stick around . On the other paw
K9 Personal Belongings:
We would also encourage you to bring as many of your pet's favorite toys and / or bedding articles, crates, etc. as they have plenty of room in these cozy cabins, in addition to a tack-box to store belongings. However, the K9 Cabins & Dog Trails, Inc. is not responsible for any damaged or lost toys, blankets or other items of personal property that belong to your dog. We encourage you to bring an old blanket, sock (clean one!) or tshirt that has your scent on it as well! Please bring a normal leash and collar. NO EXTEND-A-LEASHES OR HARNESSES PLEASE! We do not need food bowls either.
K9 Food:
WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND BRINGING YOUR PET'S OWN FOOD, to ensure they have no digestive problems during their stay with us. Please label it with your name and instructions. WE DO NOT NEED FOOD BOWLS.
NO FLEA POLICY:
Please check your K9 Kid for fleas and treat your dog with a flea and tick prevenative, such as Frontline or Advantage, prior to your arrival at the K9 Cabins and Dog Trails, Inc.! If your dogs has fleas, he/she will not be welcome to stay with us.
